What we have found during week of tracking the 2 Barbastelles is that the
male is located daytime in a building near Witton, but makes frequent
nocturnal visits to the Pasaton Barn to see his 'lady friends' and feeds
near Bacton Woods and through Edingthorpe to Paston along the "Quiet Lanes"
and wooded footpath systems.
The female is resident in Paston Barn during the daytime, with forays to the
cliffs towrds Mundesley or inland to feed along similar paths and road-sides
if its windy on the coast. She also spends quite long periods inside the
barn at night......
The batteries should last for another week until about September 10th and
tracking will take place most evenings.
